RenDroid (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is an open-source Ren’Py visual novel loader for Android, developed by RenLauncher. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use RenDroid.
In short: RenDroid does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information.

RenDroid does not collect any personal information such as:
- Names or email addresses
- Phone numbers

- Advertising identifiers
Crash Reporting
RenDroid uses Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google, to collect anonymous crash reports when the app encounters errors. This helps us identify and fix bugs to improve app stability.
Crash reports may include:
- Device model and manufacturer
- Operating system version
- App version
- Stack traces and error logs
- General device state at the time of crash (e.g., available memory)
This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally. No user-generated content, game data, or personal information is included in crash reports.

Network Usage
RenDroid connects to the internet solely for the following purposes:
- Downloading Ren’Py runtime engines required to run games
- Checking for app updates (if enabled)
No personal data, game content, save files, or usage statistics are transmitted over the network.
Device Storage
RenDroid accesses your device’s local storage to:
- Import and store game files (ZIP archives and APK files)
- Manage game save files
- Import, store, and apply mod files
- Store app configuration and preferences
All data is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to any server. You have full control over your data and can delete it at any time by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app.

Children’s Privacy
